Landfill becomes baseball field!!
From land fill to baseball field in 2 minute 30 seconds! (well, a year and a half actually).
In March, the new baseball field was finished and kids came to baseball camp! Doug Coppage commented that…”After a year and a half of searching, planning, and hard work, missionaries in Vác, Hungary have built a little league baseball field. On April 13-14 they welcomed 20 local kids to a baseball clinic. There was lots of potential and even more enthusiasm as the young rookies learned how to play a game that they had seen before—but never understood.” This summer a softball team from the USA mid-west used the field to interest girls in the sport and in the last weeks, a ladies softball team has begun tryouts! Currently, a storage unit is needed, you can help in this effort toward raising $3000 for a storage unit.
